All my life, whenever I’ve read books I’m always most fascinated by what the characters eat. From the Christmas pudding in Charles Dicken’s A Christmas Carol to the apple turnovers in Almanzo’s lunchpail in Farmer Boy I’m always craving the foods I read about. So, I’m searching out the weird and wonderful meals and snacks that characters eat and trying to recreate them. If there are no tried and true recipes, I’ll do my best to cobble one together.
